Lex can identify most people he knows by how they smell … it’s a unique gift. Each person has a unique scent and Lex has memorized them all.
His father? Lionel Luthor smells like money and Clive Christian No. 1 cologne, priced at $2350.00 a bottle at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York.
Miss Lang? Lana smells like bubblegum and roses. The scent is too strong and makes Lex cough.
Miss Sullivan? Chloe smells like printer ink and coffee, which doesn’t smell as bad as it sounds.
Mrs. Kent? Martha smells like fresh baked bread and tulips, a scent that always makes Lex smile.
Mr. Kent? Mr. Kent smells a little like manure, and mostly like axle grease, mixed in with a hint of hay.
And Clark?
Lex sighs as he presses his nose to his lover’s hair. Clark always smells like … sunshine … rain on the asphalt … hay … honeysuckle … love.
