It looks awful judging by the trailers, I don't see the point of having the beast be typical CW handsome and make up some bull about "he has an inner beast". Then it's not really beauty and the beast is it?

It does look horrible ... and makes no sense at all! An 'inner beast'? You're right, then it's not Beauty and the Beast ... it's doomed to fail.

Lets just say I saw the trailer and I was underwhelmed. And as for the Beast WAY to pretty. I think they are stretching the Beauty and the Beast premise beyond breaking point with this one. Which isn't the actors fault.

If they just wanted to do Heroine and tortured soul Hero then fine, do that. Come up with an original idea. But to sell it as a reboot is just seems a bit off.

Yes I agree on the failure front. I know they are banking on viewers that wont have see the original, but even still the premiss on this is so thin its practically transparent.
