"Okay," Gibbs said softly, his breath warm on Tony's ear. "Close your eyes. Take a few deep breaths. Picture the animal."

"This is silly," Tony muttered. When he'd found out he was a shapeshifter, Gibbs had taken him under his wing, so to speak, to teach him how to ... be.

"Shhh," Gibbs breathed, running a hand along Tony's shoulders. "Picture the animal and just ... let it happen."

There was a scent of ... sawdust? And then in front of Gibbs stood a rambunctious St. Bernard, tongue lolling out happily. "Oh Tony," Gibbs said with a loving smile.
