
All right, so here is an update on the laptop:
So, I went to Best Buy and talked to the Geek Squad. I explained that one time it loaded enough to see my actual wallpaper and stuff loading before it went black, and the guy asked if I could kind of see the stuff loading. I told him that yes, I could see the wallpaper and stuff but it was really dim, and the guy said that it was my backlight. When I asked about how to fix it, he said he would have to send it out. I wouldn't have it for 2 - 4 weeks and it would cost about $500 ... YIKES!! Well, then his supervisor says they can't work on Dells ... so they send me to this other place, called Adam's Electronics ...
I get to Adam's Electronics three minutes before it closes ... I explain to them what I think the problem is ... and one of the girls tells me that if it's the backlight it's probably just an inverter and parts are only about $20 - $60 ... and then I ask if they send it out, and nope, they work on it there ... and time? 2 to 3 working days!!! My day got better after being there ... now I know that it I won't be without my laptop forever ...
