My dad is turning 65 in 2018 ... I know it's a long ways off, but ... I came up with an awesome birthday present for him and my sister's totally on board!!

We are going to make plans to take our dad to Hawaii to the Aulani resort for a week!!!!

OMG I'm so excited!!!

We celebrated Christmas with my dad's side last night and it was amazing! My dad has been working on clearing out my uncle's house which is PACKED with stuff ... well, he took a couple of boxes over to my Aunt Loni's house and when we pried them open we found ... pictures. Hundreds of pictures, some dating all the way back to 1928! I managed to get some pictures of pictures ... I wanted to share them here ... a look at my past, a bit of where I came from :D

So work was a cluster today ... just busy and full of phone calls and trying to arrange for a process server tonight in New York (which was epically hard,btw, trying to do that at 2:30pm PST)

Then I got home and my sister just called. My uncle will be in the hospital for a while. They did one stent today, tomorrow they're going to do the carotid stent and then ... he's going to have a triple bypass.

So yeah. That was my day.

My dad's brother is going into the hospital tomorrow.

He's having a stent put into an artery near his heart because it's super blocked.

In a week or so, he's going back in to have another stent put in one of the arteries in his neck. He's got two blocked arteries in his neck - one is 60% blocked and the other is 90% blocked O.o ... they're putting the stent in the 90% blocked one.

Just a little freaked out.

So ... here come the pictures! I had a great, great Christmas! Ended up staying at the fam's house till 8:00pm ... got there at 3:30!!! We had so so so much fun!!!

Happy Christmas, Merry Holidays, etc.!

I hope everyone is having a great day, whether you celebrate Christmas or not.

I was awake at 7am LOL! We started opening presents at about 745 once everyne was up.

I got a new big suitcase for my trip later this week, Smallville Season 10 (yay!), Captain America, the new LeAnn Rimes CD, the new Miranda Lambert CD, the Taylor Swift CD/DVD combo and a new Harvey's seatbelt bag!

My grandma gave me a sweater and a pair of pants, and my aunt got me some fleece pajamas (which will go on my trip) and a new top that will be great for work.

We ate breakfast - tamales, ham, eggs and homemade hashbrowns ... YUM!

In about three hours we'll head up to Azusa to spend Christmas with my mom's side ... there will be a total of 19 people there! O.o ... it's gonna get crazy! I'll post some pics either tonight or tomorrow ...

So ... I turn 30 in 8 days ... On October 9.

I didn't have a meltdown when I turned 25 ... I don't think I'll have meltdown at 30 ... but it's still a bit of a trip to think about ...

I'm doing something pretty exciting for my 30th - me and some family and friends are going to iFly and we're going to do simulated skydives!!!! It should be fun!!!!!

So yeah ... kind of strange ... 30 ...

So, yesterday was the party for my step-cousin's and my uncle's birthdays ... My step-cousin Kayleigh just turned 21 and my Uncle Buck turned 60 ... two big numbers :D

But, due to some financial constraints for my sis, we decided to drive out to Vegas yesterday morning, see my dad's sister, brother-in-law, cousin and cousin's husband for lunch, then hang out with our Mom's side for a few hours, have family dinner, gamble a little and then drive back ... yep, we're crazy!

So, we left yesterday at about 8:00 a.m., grabbed some breakfast at 7-11 and hopped on the freeway. We only had to stop once in Barstow for a potty break and we got to Las Vegas at about noon.

We met my Aunt Judy, Uncle Ron, cousin Mike and his husband Chris for lunch at Steaks and Shakes ...
