Howlercon 2016

sinderella81So this past weekend (from the 23rd to the 27th), I was in New Jersey (Elizabeth) for Howlercon 2016! On Friday, me and Gloria went into the city to be Hamilton trash :D but then the rest of the time, we thoroughly enjoyed the Con!
Now, I have two BIG and FUN stories to relay of things that happened during the Con.
1. Shutting Down the Autograph Line
So ... I grabbed this print from Karina in the vendor's room for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
lexalicious70 and then I decided I would go ahead and get it autographed for her! So, I'm moving through the autographs, working my way from JR to Ian and then to Daniel (because I already had Arden's), and when Daniel saw this picture, his reaction was perfect!
Daniel: Oh my god, oh my god. Go take this to Ian, no go take this to JR and have him sign it.
Me: I don't have anymore autographs (although JR probably would have signed it if I'd asked)
Daniel: Okay, just take it to him and show it to him.
Me: Okay. *walks over to JR Bourne's line and approaches volunteer manning his line* I'm on orders from Sharman to show this to JR.
Julio: I got you.
Me: *gets in line and waits my turn* Hi, I don't have anything for you to sign, but I'm on orders from Daniel Sharman to show this to you. *turns picture over to show JR*
JR: Oh my god, oh my god this is incredible I have to take a picture of this. *takes phone out of pocket and takes a picture of the art. Suddenly, stands up on chair and holds the picture above his head* BroBro! BroBro!
EVERYONE suddenly looks over at JR Bourne who is on the far side of the room. All the Con attendees start cheering and Arden Cho holds up her phone and yells 'Show it again!' - come to find out later that she's got the picture on her SnapChat ... Holland saw it and put her hand over the tighty whities and said 'Way more of Sharman than I wanted to see' and got Sharman's attention. He replied 'Oh yeah, the good old days.' Holland replies 'Oh you mean, like yesterday?' ... Ryan Kelley just said 'Hot damn! Hot damn!'
2. The Theme of Our Wedding is Sex
Okay so ... during the second panel on Saturday, which was an all male panel (JR, Ian, Ryan and Daniel) ... this question was asked to Daniel (I'm paraphrasing): Out of the three other men on this stage, who would you marry (for citizenship reasons), who would be the one trying to get you deported, and who would be the one who got away?
The one who got away ended up being a side piece, which was Ryan. Ian would be the one trying to get Daniel deported, which left JR and Daniel getting married. At the end of the panel, they were trying to end the questions, but JR was like 'lightning round!' ... someone asked what the theme of JR and Daniel's wedding would be and without missing a beat, JR says 'Sex, next question'
On Sunday, I randomly decided I would get a commission from one of the artists, Kendra and I asked for JR and Daniel's wedding day, with 'The Theme of Our Wedding is Sex' written across the top. Gloria's an enabler and said I should get it autographed ... so I did. JR loved it and said it was so amazing (hence why he signed it that way LOL) and Daniel appeared to like it, but he was so tired I don't know if he actually knew what he was signing ... I imagine a day or so from now it's going to hit him that he signed a picture of himself in a wedding dress.
All in all this was an amazing weekend and I have lots of great memories!!!
