Summary:  Lana learns more than she wanted to about Lex and Clark's relationship

Clark tugged at the collar of his deep green v-neck t-shirt as he hurried into the Talon. Lana had called and asked if he could fix a leaking pipe so he had quickly pulled clothes on, gave Lex a quick kiss and headed over.

 

“Lana, what’s this about a leaking pipe?” he asked.

 

“Oh hi Clark,” Lana said. “It’s under the sink in the back … Clark? What is that?” Her gaze was locked on a spot of black on Clark’s collarbone.

 

“What?” Clark asked.

 

“There’s something right there,” Lana said, pointing to the black spot on Clark’s skin.

 

Clark reached up and felt at his collarbone, blushing as he picked at the dried black latex body paint. “Um … it’s latex body paint,” he murmured.

 

“Latex body paint?” Lana asked.

 

“Yeah,” Clark said, brushing past Lana to go look at the leaking pipe. 

 

“Wait, why did you have body paint on you?” Lana asked.

 

Clark groaned to himself as climbed under the sink and used his heat vision to fix the leaking pipe. “Lana, it’s private,” he said. 

 

“Did someone do it to you? Are you okay?” Lana said.

 

Clark sighed as he stood up and wiped his hands on his jeans. “Lana, I’m fine,” he said. “If you must know, I wanted to be covered in the latex body paint … It’s a sensual experience and I enjoy it. You called just as we were cleaning up from our latest adventure.”

 

“Oh,” Lana said, her cheeks pink.

 

Just then, Justin Timberlake’s song ‘Bringing Sexy Back’ rang through the Talon and Clark blushed as he dug his cell phone out of his pocket and answered it.   “Hey sexy,” he murmured. “Yeah, I’m just about done here … If you could get Cook to bring up some apple pie … Yeah, I’ll be home in a bit … This time it’s my turn to paint you … See you soon.” He hung up the phone and looked back at Lana. “The pipe is fixed, so I’m off. Lex says to get a plumber to come double check in the morning. Bye!” 

 

He pocketed his cell phone and headed out, leaving Lana standing speechless and blushing in the middle of the Talon.

And I'll bet Lana was planning on seducing Clark once he'd fixed the pipe, too. *snickers* Adventuresome CLex is fun! (Though Jonathan would probably be less amused.)

And our boys are certainly adventuresome ...

And what Jonathan doesn't know won't hurt him *wink*
