All right, so Dell told me that my Windows XP was corrupt, right?  And that I'd have to reinstall it?  Well, thank goodness Adam's Electronics got my data off because the damn thing won't even install a new version of Windows!  So ... I'll be bumming computers until my shiny new one comes ... Sometime around the 8th of December ... unless they finish it sooner ...

At least they managed to save everything

EDIT: Looks like I found the right way to do it so Windows installs ... at least I'll have something until the new one comes
