Tony tapped his fingers on his desk, waiting for Gibbs to come back down from MTAC. He’d been up there for a while … with her. The new director.
Tony knew that his lover and the new director had a past. Hell, Jenny Sheppard loved to flaunt it in his face, batting her eyelashes at Gibbs and leaning all over him.
Tony heard familiar footsteps and looked up to see Gibbs wandering down the stairs, and a stoic Jenny Sheppard standing up on the uppermost landing.
“DiNozzo, with me,” Gibbs called out as he headed towards the elevator.
Tony stood and wandered past Ziva and McGee, entering the elevator behind Gibbs.
The elevator doors closed behind them, and moments later Tony found himself pressed against the buffed mirrored walls of the elevator, the elevator stopped. Tony groaned and wrapped his arms around Gibbs, giving himself over to the feel of his lover’s lips pressed to his.
“I will never … never … leave you for her,” Gibbs said between kisses. “She means nothing to me.”
“I just … she flaunts it,” Tony whispered, leaning in to nibble on Gibbs’ bottom lip. “Your past with her.”
“It’s just that,” Gibbs replied, nuzzling Tony’s neck.
“Promise?” Tony whispered, his insecurities kicking in.
Gibbs nodded, nibbling at Tony’s throat. “I promise,” he replied. “It’s in the past, Tony.” He ran his thumb across Tony’s cheekbone, smiling softly at his lover. “Don’t pay her any mind, Tony.”
“Just the Director,” Tony murmured.
“Just the Director,” Gibbs replied, pressing another kiss to Tony’s lips. “Besides, you are way better in bed.” He tossed a smile over his shoulder as the elevator doors opened and he strolled back into the bullpen.
Tony’s eyes widened as he followed Gibbs out. “Really?”
