Summary: A little reading before bed and a little playing between lovers
Warnings: Does contain a spoiler for 'Breaking Dawn', so ... just beware :)

“What kind of name is Renèsmee?” Clark grumbled to himself.

“What are you babbling about?” Lex asked as he padded into their bedroom. He crawled onto the bed and curled up next to his lover.

“I’m reading ‘Breaking Dawn’,” Clark said as explanation.

“And this is?” Lex asked, pressing a soft kiss to Clark’s collarbone.

“Lex, I’ve been waiting for this book for months,” Clark said.

Lex laughed and gave Clark a peck on the nose. “I know, baby,” he murmured. “And you’re mad at a name?”

“It’s a silly name,” Clark muttered. “Silly vampire human hybrid name … “

“Vampires, huh?” Lex asked with a grin, nibbling on Clark’s neck. “I vant to suck your blood,” he said in a silly accent, sucking at Clark’s neck.

Clark giggled and tossed his book aside, wrapping his arms around his lover. “Oh no,” he said in a silly voice. “Don’t drain me!”

“I von’t drain you,” Lex said with a wink. “I vill make you like me … a creature of the night.” He went back to sucking on Clark’s neck, smiling when Clark began to laugh and wiggle on the bed.

“Lex!” Clark said between laughs.

Lex finally stopped and relaxed against Clark’s chest, listening to Clark’s strong heartbeat. “I love you,” he murmured.

“Love you too,” Clark whispered, rubbing Lex’s back. “We should sleep … I have classes tomorrow … “

“And I have work,” Lex said with a sigh. “Meet you for dinner?”

Clark nodded. “Definitely … and maybe some after dinner sex?”

“Why Mr. Kent, are you propositioning me?” Lex said with a smile.

“Yes, yes I am,” Clark said, pressing a kiss to the top of Lex’s head.

“Well then, I accept,” Lex replied, letting his eyes drift closed.

“Good,” Clark whispered. He tucked the covers tighter around the two of them and closed his eyes, clinging tight to Lex as he drifted into a safe, blissful sleep.
