Some Christmas-y Stuff

So, my friend is here and we're watching some movies and exchanging Christmas presents ...

I gave her the Edward Barbie ... she loved it! :D

She gave me a book, a book I really really wanted called 'The Great American Pin-Up' (click the pic to be linked to the B&N page)

I also made cookies for a cookie exchange I have tomorrow ... they're called 'Cowboy Cookies' and here's the recipe:

2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups oats
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 bag of chocolate chips

Mix all ingredients (this takes time LOL)
Drop on greased cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees

I doubled the recipe and it made approx. 68 cookies ... and some of them were big!
