“Hey Abs, wanna go get some pizza tonight?” Tony asked as he wandered into Abby’s lab.
“What about the Bossman?” Abby squinted at her computer, trying to make sense of the results she’d received for one of the other team’s cases.
“He’s still feeling under the weather,” Tony replied, leaning against Abby’s table.
“What? Gibbs is sick? Gibbs never gets sick!” Abby turned to interrogate Tony and stopped. And stared. “What are you eating?”
Tony looked down to the big pickle in one hand and the jar of peanut butter in the other. “What? I was hungry!”
“For a pickle. And peanut butter.” Abby eyed Tony carefully, walking in a slow circle around her friend. “What kind of pizza did you want?”
“I was thinking of a veggie pizza,” Tony replied. “With some Tabasco sauce … “
“Tony!” Abby said. “Why didn’t you tell me you were pregnant?”
“Preg - I’m not pregnant, Abby,” Tony said. He took a moment to scoop some peanut butter out of the jar with his pickle and took a big bite. “Just hungry.”
“Right,” Abby said. “For pickles and peanut butter, and veggie pizza with Tabasco sauce. Just go get a test and prove me right. Or, let me do a test!” She began rummaging around for a urine cup.
Tony shook his head, taking another bit of his pickle. “There’s no way, Abs,” he said.
“I don‘t believe you,” Abby said with a grin, holding the cup in her hand. “But if you insist … ”
“I do insist,” Tony replied. “So, pizza?”
“I’ll go out for pizza with you … on one condition.” Abby set the cup next to her computer and gave Tony a grin.
“Should I be worried?” Tony asked, popping the last of his pickle in his mouth. He grabbed a napkin from his back pocket and wiped his hands off before putting a lid back on the peanut butter.
“You, me and blue nail polish, with glitter,” Abby said smugly. “So you and the Silver Fox match.”
Tony frowned at her. “No glitter and you have a deal,” he bargained.
“Deal!” Abby said, shutting down her computer and heading for the door. “Come on, we’ll pick up some pizza and get you all blue’d up!”
“And Tabasco sauce … and some chocolate sauce,” Tony’s voice carried through the hall as he followed Abby. “And maybe some more pickles!”

(Am I the only one whose mind dove into the gutter at the mental image of Tony eating a pickle?)
