Title: 008. Knowing
Rating: G
Pairing: Gibbs/DiNozzo
Genre: Established Relationship
Summary: A little talk about the birds and the bees ... and the talk the two men got about the birds and the bees
Disclaimer: I don't own them ...
A/N: Written for my Tibbs Prompt Chart. You'll be able to find them in my chart or my memories
A/N 2: This takes place in what I call my Waddling!verse where Gibbs and Tony are both preggers
“Do you remember your first health class?” Tony asked out of the blue one Sunday afternoon as they lounged outside on the chaise on the patio.
Gibbs snorted and nodded, absentmindedly rubbing circles on his stomach. “It was horrible,” he admitted. “Ours was one of the first classes in Stillwater to get that … talk.”
Tony nodded, resting his head on Gibbs’ shoulder as he listened to his lover speak. “I bet it was weird,” he murmured.
“Weird is one word for it,” Gibbs said with a chuckle. “All the boys sat there, listening to our gym teacher, poor guy, read to us out of the handbook he was given.”
“We had videos and diagrams when it was my turn,” Tony said. “But most of us already knew about it, from television and books and magazines.”
“It was strange,” Gibbs said. “Knowing that … I could bring life into the world.”
“It’s still strange,” Tony whispered, resting his hand on top of Gibbs’. “That we are both carrying little lives … “
“Little lives that will one day need to be given that talk,” Gibbs reminded Tony with a smile.
“Oh god,” Tony groaned. “Two children to have that discussion with? If we have a daughter and a son, I call dibs on our son.”
