I watched the NCIS Season 10 Finale last night.  Totally loved it.  However, it didn't change how I've been feeling for the past couple of months.  I feel like there has been something missing from the show for a while now ... it seems to have lost the 'team' ... Not that there haven't been great episodes, but ... *sigh*

Anyway, I kind of feel like Season 11 should be it.  I fee like it has had a really good run, but ... I just think it's a good time.  It gives them a full season to wrap things up and give us a good ending.

I've been thinking the same thing!! Technically Gibbs should retire next year, I'm pretty sure. Hope he sails off on a sailboat and not a rowboat where he's forever stuck with Franks (shudder).

I think it would be nice for Gibbs to retire ... although I'm not sure what's he's building now, but I don't think it's a boat LOL! A season is a good timeframe to close things up ...

I agree. I actually gave up watching it around mid season 9 because it wasn't doing it for me and hadn't for quite a while really. I don't miss it because there are so many awesome shows out there.

Judging by the new Tuesday line up from the fall, with new shows Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D (The Avengers spinoff with Joss Whedon at the helm) and Dads, and with The Biggest Loser moving over from its timeslot to against NCIS, I think we'll see quite a big ratings fall which might lead in naturally to it deciding to call it a day. NCIS has had no real competition for the past couple of years so it's stormed the ratings each week, and it might make it up its game if it starts losing ratings - or just hasten the end.

I used to have all kinds of wishes for how it would finish up, but now I have to admit I don't really care and won't watch it, which is sad.

I still watch, because I do like (most of) the characters and would like to see them get closure. And I used to write a ton of Tibbs and had even started a prompt chart that I got halfway through. But the shows going the way they were have kind of put the muses in a coma ...

I can't say that I disagree with you. I have found myself playing on my laptop while watching the shows this season and not paying 100% attention like I used to. It's all pretty "meh" for me lately. *sigh*

I can't say that I don't agree. More times than not lately I've watched the show while playing on my laptop -- skimming sorta. ;)
