A Little Rant

Okay, so I have an issue ... 

So, the show 'Smallville' is supposed to be about Clark, right?  Then why do a ton of the shows revolve around Lana??  I mean, sure, at the beginning of the series she was kind of cute and fun, and I liked how the writers were writing her.  But now ... I mean, hello?  Season Four found Lana possessed by a witch.  I mean, really?  Possessed by a witch and doing all those acrobatics?  Season Five found her addicted to a death drug, becoming a vampire and dying and being resurected.  And in Season Six she was pregnant with the baby that didn't exst!  Not to mention all the stalkers she's had.  *sigh*

Yes! We tune in to be entertained by a show about Clark Kent growing up and developing into Superman. While his 'best' friend Lex Luthor (whom I am in desperate love with) turns into his greatest enemy. All TPTB give us is a character no one likes... who sucks up all the air time.
I am past sick of it.

Tis what I've been saying all along, Becks love! TPTB are just too in love with KK to see that she really is a speck in the life of Clark/Superman -- yes, I understand that she's his first love and he only moves on when he moves to Met, but really, there's so much possibility for interesting story that the LANADRAMA is replacing!

Now I admit that KK is a good actress, just ... dude!! Give us something else besides Lanadrama! Let Clark move on now and move closer to his role as Superman!

Uh...no, she's not. Sorry, but I'm gonna have to disagree with you. AM is a good actress, the one who played Alicia is a good actress. KK is mediocre at best.

AM is awesome and the actress who playes Alicia is awesome too! I've just seen KK in other things besides SV ... and I think she could do better than what they give her on SV ... But AM and Alicia rock mos def!

I've seen KK in 3 other roles and wasn't impressed; that's why I find her extremely weak--actually, the weakest of the SV cast. Plus, the Lana character is horrible, so that doesn't help, hehe!

The Lana character is horrible ... she was vapid and self centered ... the Lana of the comics didn't seem nearly as vapid ...

I'm completely with you here. I don't tune in to watch Lana, or Supergirl for that matter (Which is what this season is promising to focus heavily on). I want to see Clark Kent becoming Superman, Clark's relationship with Lex, and then people like Lana on the side. They really have focused too much on Lana, and I think that's its hurt the show.

I don't watch for Lana either ... I want to see Clark's journey and his relationship with Lex ... not the Lana show! They need to refocus on Clark ...
