Summary: Lana is so oblivious ...

Clark rubbed his face as he sat at the back of the Talon, reading over his essay that was due when he got back from Thanksgiving break. He was doing very well in his classes; he’d surprised everyone by majoring in business and was excelling.
“Clark, hi!”
Clark looked up to see Lana Lang meandering through the Talon, headed straight for him. She was still wearing the backless shirts and low rise jeans, and although she’d toned down her makeup, her look still screamed ‘tramp’.
“Hey Lana,” Clark said distractedly.
“Home for Thanksgiving?” Lana asked, twirling a lock of hair around her index finger.
Clark’s brow furrowed and he looked up at Lana. “Um … yeah,” he said.
“Spending it with your folks?”
“Yeah,” Clark said slowly. “Me and Lex.”
“You and … “
“Lex.” Clark turned to see his lover step from back offices. He set his stuff down and stood, wrapping his arms around his lover.
Lex turned in Clark’s embrace and relaxed against Clark’s chest. “Miss Lang,” he said. “How is Smallville treating you?”
“Oh, I’m going to junior college in Granville,“ Lana replied, batting her eyelashes at Clark a bit.
“Miss Lang,” Lex said. “Have you not heard the town gossip?”
“About what?” Lana asked.
Clark chuckled and pressed a kiss to Lex’s head. “I brought Lex home for Thanksgiving,” he said.
“But … but … “ Lana stuttered.
“Miss Lang, I am going to say this one time,” Lex said. “You are nothing more than a cipher … a nonentity. Clark deserves better than you.”
“I have it,” Clark said, kissing Lex gently. “Come on … Mom’s waiting for us.”
“Right, we’re going to help with pie,” Lex said. “Grab your stuff and let’s go.”
Clark grinned and packed his stuff up. The two of them ignored Lana as they laughed and ran through the Talon to Lex’s car.
“WHAT?” Lana screeched.
