It's the way he says it; the way that word, that title rolls off his tongue.  His eyes twinkle because he knows what it does to me, coming from him.

Ziva and McGee are either blissfully oblivious or purposely ignorant, not that I care either way.  Abby sees ... and gleefully approves.

"Ziva! McGee! Gas the truck!  DiNozzo, with me!"

Tony gives me an enigmatic smile as we walk to the elevator together, close but not too close.  The elevator doors close and Tony leans in just a bit.  "You did that on purpose ... boss."

Of course I did.  Whether it's in the bullpen or the bedroom ... hearing him purr that word ... just gets me.
