Summary: A extra night in Vegas and a lot of drinks lead to an interesting development in the relationship of Gibbs and DiNozzo ... Can they make it work? Or will it all fall apart?

Grace Abbot was talking before they even escorted her to the car. She couldn’t stop talking about how being gay was a sin, and Brian Green was seducing her brother into doing the devil’s work and if Ben could just find a nice girl everything would be better. The case against her was rock solid and there was no way she’d get out of prison time.

“She thought she was saving her brother,” Tony murmured. He was resting against Gibbs’ chest, relaxing on the old worn out couch in Gibbs’ living room.

“She had a warped way of doing it,” Gibbs replied. He ran a hand through Tony’s hair, enjoying the way the soft strands tickled his fingers. He was … content. The case had been wrapped up, Grace Abbot was being held without bail for the murder of a naval officer, and his team had the rest of the week off.

“Ben’s going to need like … years of therapy,” Tony mumbled, turning and resting his cheek on Gibbs’ chest.

“He’s strong,” Gibbs said. “He’ll pull through.”

“You seem sure,” Tony said softly.

“I am,” Gibbs replied, enjoying the solid warmth of Tony against his chest.

Tony smiled and wrapped his arms tighter around Gibbs. “So, can I redecorate?” he asked, changing the subject. He didn’t want to talk about the case anymore.

“Redecorate?” Gibbs said. “Who’s the wife again?” He playfully smacked Tony’s ass. “Well, I expect you’ll be bringing all your stuff over here.”

“You expect right,” Tony said. “My couch is way more comfortable than this one … and my sheets are Egyptian cotton … very soft.”

Gibbs chuckled. “Such a hedonist,” he said.

“You’ll change your tune the first time you sleep on my sheets, Jethro,” Tony said. “And we’ll put my entertainment center in here, and my TV and DVD player.”

“I’ve seen your entertainment center, Tony,” Gibbs said. “It’ll do for now … but we’ll need something sturdier. I’ll build us something.”

Tony smiled and leaned up, pressing a gentle kiss to Gibbs’ neck, sucking at the warm skin under his lips. “My handyman husband,” Tony murmured. “So good with your hands.”

“Oh I’m very good with my hands,” Gibbs said, allowing his hand to slip lower, dipping under the waistband of Tony’s sweatpants.

“The spirit is willing,” Tony murmured. “Very willing, but the body … “

“Is exhausted,” Gibbs replied, kissing Tony’s hair. “Wanna go upstairs?”

“In a little bit,” Tony murmured. “I’m good here.”

“Me too,” Gibbs said softly, going back to petting Tony’s hair. He felt his eyes drooped and allowed sleep to claim him, his hand still entrenched in Tony’s hair.

Epilogue

Early morning light filtered through the gauzy bedroom curtains, casting a golden glow on the sleeping couple.

Tony stirred, smiling when calloused hands tightened their grip around his mid-section. He pried his eyes open and watched his husband sleep. Six months into their marriage and things were great. Oh sure, they had their disagreements, but Tony made sure they never went to bed angry. He’d seen enough of that with his father and his many wives, and didn’t want his marriage to be like those of his father.

His bladder protested Gibbs’ tight grip, so Tony carefully extricated himself from his husband’s arms and headed for the bathroom. On the way back to bed he stopped and looked out the window. Gibbs had delivered on his promise -- they’d had another wedding. This time all of their friends were in attendance, but none of Gibbs’ ex-wives or Tony’s ex-girlfriends.

Now they were taking a week long vacation/honeymoon at Gibbs’ cabin in the woods.

Tony glanced down at the thick band on his left hand and smiled wider. He never thought he would ever get married, but a marriage to Gibbs was just … right.

One of those delicious calloused hands wrapped itself around Tony’s midsection, and Tony leaned back against the hard body behind him.

“You’re up early,” Tony said.

“Someone let the cold air in,” Gibbs murmured, pressing a kiss to the back of Tony’s neck.

“Nature called,” Tony replied, humming softly when one of Gibbs’ hand began caressing his chest. “That’s nice.”

“Come back to bed,” Gibbs said softly.

“Do my ears deceive me? Is my husband actually condoning wallowing in bed while the sun is up?” Tony said teasingly. He was rewarded with a slap to the ass.

“I want to fuck my wife,” Gibbs growled in Tony’s ear.

“Again with the wife thing,” Tony said, chuckling softly. The chuckle turned into a moan as he felt Gibbs’ finger dip into the curve of his ass. “Oh … I am all for that,” Tony groaned.

“Thought you’d like that idea,” Gibbs said with a laugh, leading Tony back over to the bed to continue what he‘d started.

Three failed marriages had made Gibbs vow to never marry again -- and Tony DiNozzo made him break that vow. He’d joked and teased his way into Gibbs’ heart until he could think of nothing else but claiming Tony as his own.

As the morning sun rose, Gibbs set about reaffirming his claim over his husband … body, heart and soul.
