"What the hell is this?" Gibbs squinted at his computer screen, glasses perched on the end of his nose.

"It's called fanfiction, Bossman," Abby said over his shoulder. "The Internet is full of it ... especially Deep Six fic."

"People write stories about McGee's book? Why? He wrote the books," Gibbs said. The story he was reading was kind of interesting ... slighty sexy, even.

"Because some people want to play with canon," Abby said.

Gibbs nodded and kept reading until ... "Tibbs and Tommy?!"
