Suits 2x02 Thoughts

OMG the feels from last night!!!!  I watched it twice - once on east coast feed and then once from the DVR because I recorded it (the sis is hooked!!!  :D)

So ... some random thoughts



*  Mike really doesn't have as much game as he thinks he does

*  I'm really glad that he broke Rachel's heart ... she flies off the handle, acts first, asks later so ... 

*  Donna and Louis scenes are the shit!!!!

*  Harvey in a tux ... GUH!!!!!  Just ... fucking delicious!!!

*  Every Mike and Harvey scene was just ... amazing!!!!

*  Harvey and Jessica ... and that last scene!  The feels!!!!

I love Donna and Louis. Just...LOVE THEM. Oh hell. I just love Donna. And her telling Mike how he got to keep his job. *sigh*

the pineapple scene! THE PINEAPPLE SCENE. "it's rough on the outside, but sweet on the inside! Come on, you know you want to try it!" AND AND AND when Mike takes it back from Harvey and TURNS IT AROUND to bite where Harvey bit? aaaaaahhhhh! *dies*

And Harvey in a tux, telling Mike not to tell Rachel about 'the secret' is so freakin' hot. And for a minute, until regular sense kicked in, I thought they were holding hands on the kitchen island. But then I slapped myself, and realised that no, they were just both leaning on it in the same place. Ugh, I haven't felt 'fannish squee' like in a LONG time. I'd forgot what it was like. Thank you, Gabriel and Patrick for indulging in the slashy subtext. *shivers*

I thought Jessica came off as a little desperate and not thinking clearly. Yes, she's worried about her position, but it's made her forget - momentarily - who Harvey is and what he values. He works for her and the client. Not other voting partners, not himself (though there is some enlightened self interest in there, considering the whole Mike situation). I think the stress of having Hardman back and vying for her job is clouding her judgement. This is the first ep in which I thought she lost her cool.

And Rachel...I have no words for her. There was a little hope, with her and Mike being so cute together, but damn, that girl's got issues...

OMG They are epically funny together!!!! And I LOVE that Donna told Mike ... Mike needs to know what Harvey did for him, even if Harvey won't tell him!

And the pineapple scene!!!!!!! OMG! *flails* Mike ate from the same side as Harvey!!!!!!!! And omg that's totally Harvey, rough on the outside and sweet on the inside! Harvey likes to play that he doesn't care, but he totally does!!!!!!

Fucking hell, Harvey in a tux just ... GUH! And yeah, for a split sec I thought they were holding hands too, but ... *sigh* I love GM and PA so much for indulging us ... epic ♥

Jessica is clearly scared and yeah, not thinking clearly ... Harvey works for his clients ... works to make them happy. Hardman coming back is definitely throwing Jessica off her game.

And oh Rachel ... what can I say? She definitely acts first, asks later, so ... it was best that Mike just broke up with her. She's got major issues.
