My Life ... It's Random

Okay, so yesterday was the fall down the stairs and today?  I wake up at like 6 this morning to hear a transformer blow and leave half our block without power!  Dad came up to my room and handed me a flashlight ... no going back to bed for me (and I was so looking forward to an extra 20 or so minutes of sleep) - did my morning routine with a flashlight and sat around chatting with my dad for a while.  Then the power came back at about 710 so I hurried upstairs to set my clock and alarm again (otherwise I'd forget) and then hurried off to work ...

What will tomorrow bring?!

Okay, so while I was in the shower this morning I remembered my dream from last night ...

I was in this large park, surrounded by tons of people who had apparently gone to my high school ... I was surrounded by people and this HUGE guy (that I apparently knew) picked me up and carried me through the crowd to a clear part of the park ... where I suddenly saw a huge group of people that I was in the high school band with, including a whole group of guys playing football right across from where I was standing.  So, I started walking around and suddenly ran into someone ... this guy that I'd had a HUGE crush on ... his eyes were stunning ...
So, I run into him -

He said: You ...
I said:  We were in band together - I was a freshman, you were a senior
He said:  RIght ... I kind of hoped you'd call me
I said:  Well, where are you going now?
He said:  I'm only here for another hour, then I'm staying with a friend before going home
I said:  Where's home?
He said: Ireland (at this point I realize that he's been talking the whole time with an Irish accent)
I said: Well, here let me give you my address so you can write me
He said:  I don't have a pen and paper
I said:  Okay, well here's my email, it's really easy

I give him the email and he leaves and then ... I woke up

It was a weird dream ...

I'm a pretty open minded girl ... I read just about everything and I thought I'd seen it all until ...

In a romance novel I have - granted, it's not the main plot of the story, but it's there ...

Okay, so this morning I come in and find that not only is the voice mail system not working and that we're on our fifth fax machine, but our power supply to the work server crashed ... so we couldn't access any of the case files ... we had interoffice email and internet though, so some work got done ... but it was a weird work Monday.

Thank goodness I'm not trying to sleep right now ... the police helicopter is hovering low and circling ... the searchlight on ... they're REALLY close ...  According to my dad, they have two searchlights going ... something's going on ...

All right, so I have gone and created back-up journals ... don't know how much they'll get used, but ...
