My Life ... It's Random

So I went to see 'The Hunger Games' last night ... will post squee in a minute LOL

First there was drama ... so I was seeing the 7:45 showing with a bestie.  I had to stay a little late at work (of course) and when I got there at about 6:15 the bestie was already in line ... so there went dinner plans.  But I should have expected that given the buzz for the movie :D.  

So ... we weren't too far back in the line, but people had been saving spots, etc. There was this guy behind us though, with his daughter, and he suddenly started talking to this teenager on the other side of the ropes (further up in line) about how he was just going to cut in front of everyone because all these people were saving spots and cutting in front of him.  O.o ... The teenager tried to talk to him sensibly, but ... no.  The guy wasn't having any of it.  So then, a theater employee comes around to make sure everyone has actual tickets, not just Fandango printouts and the guy starts talking to her about how do they know these people weren't cutting, etc.  Really guy?  They're not going to sell more tickets than seats in the theater, chill.  So THEN the line starts moving, and a couple of teenage boys in front of us were going to cut the line to be with their friends who were already there, but there wasn't room for them, and the guy starts telling the teenagers to go back of he'll hurt them ... like punch them!  The boys spoke with some of the employees about him and I don't know if the guy got kicked out but ... wow.  And I feel bad for his daughter.

There were a couple of chatty people around us ... so I'll need to see it again :D :D (not a hardship LOL)

I didn't get to eat dinner until 11:00 last night ... 

OH! And I ran into two kids that used to go to the Y when I worked there.  One was working there in the theater ... and I'm friends with her older sister on FB O.o ... The other was one of the teenagers who was in front of me ... he had to be about 14 ... I knew him when he was 5 and 6 ... How old did that make me feel?????

Now on to the movie ... Epic love!!!!!!  It is a great companion to the book ... and the movie had some really interesting shots and I loved the music and the look and the costumes and I felt the casting was spot on!!! I loved loved loved Effie Trinkett and Haymitch!!!!!!!  Just perfect!!  And my love for Peeta has grown to epic proportions LOL ... I can't wait to see what they do with the two other books!!!!

Why yes, I did just get my lunch at 2:38 p.m. today ...

Today has been teh such and I have been running around ALL DAY!

Might do more comprehensive post when I get home but suffice it to say I'm POOPED!!!!!!!!!!!!

At least once I get back from lunch I'll only have an hour and twenty minutes left in my work day ...

So, my laptop decided to take a crap ... again. Apparently this time Windows XP is corrupt and the only way to fix it is to reinstall Windows, hence losing everything. So, instead I'm going to take my laptop to the computer place close to me and have them take all the data off my D Drive (which is all my fics, pics, rp's, etc) and then transfer it all to my brand new shiny computer that will be coming sometime this week.

Drawback? I'm gonna lose all my favorites ... *sigh* ... It's okay, I mean I don't use as many of them as I used to so it'll be nice to start new, but ... I had a whole bunch of fics from the SSA bookmarked that I'll have to find again ...

Oh well, shiny new laptop on the way!!!


And ... the lj update page is being weird and I can't see the moods ... so for right now I'm moodless

So, Casey (our doggie) wasn't feeling too well yesterday ... he took forever to eat his food and constantly wanted to go outside to go to the bathroom ...  


Poor Casey ... I at least hope he's feeling better now ... He won't be gettting food for a while, just to make sure ...  

So, I took my car into Saturn last night and they did a whole bunch of tests this morning to find out what's wrong.  So, I get a call this morning and it's the woman from Saturn telling me what's wrong.  Well, apparently there are a bunch of small things that need to be fixed, and since some of them are along the firewall, they cost more.  The grand total for fixing my car?  Somewhere aroung $1200 ... I have the money, so it's not that big of a deal, but still ... 

Oh well, at least when it's all done my car will be running nicely again.

Okay, so I have been having car issues ... First I got into a car accident and then my 'service engine soon' light keeps coming on.  So, my dad and I have been doing some work on it, changing parts but the same codes keep coming up.  So, I called Saturn today and set up an appointment for them to fix it.  So, I will be dropping my car off on Friday for service on Saturday.  I made sure to give the person setting up my appointment the low down -- told them that we changed the spark plugs and the wiring and swapped the coils and still had the same codes ... not to mention telling them that we want the old parts back if they change them ... I just hope they can fix it because I have to get my car Smogged before October 18th.  So, cross your fingers!!!![Poll #1061874][Poll #1061874]

Okay, so first things first ... annoying police helicopter was outside my window last night for half an hour ... really hard to sleep when it's circling and getting closer and closer ... oh and did I mention the searchlight?  Yeah ... 

Also, wtf?  I hear that more LJ's are getting suspended?  Should I start trying to figure out how to move my posts to one of my other journals?
I'm cinderella81 on GJ and sexy_clexy on IJ ... but all my stories and stuff are here ... damn it!
